Blue Poppy Lodge
& Restaurant

Named for the rare blue poppy that blooms high in the Himalaya. A quiet family lodge with the whole Annapurna range across the valley.

Our Lodge

A rare find, like our namesake flower

The blue poppy grows only above three thousand metres and blooms just briefly each summer. Our lodge takes its name from that small rare thing, and tries to live up to it.

Built into the terraced hillside of Ghandruk 11, we look straight down the Modi Khola valley to Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre. Balconies hang with prayer flags, the garden hums in the morning sun, and the terrace catches the sunrise before most of the village wakes.
